How do I get my existing catalogue into the platform?

Use Import. Upload an Excel or CSV export, confirm the suggested column mapping, and review the parsed rows. The importer understands roster columns such as “Full Composition Splits” or “Interested Parties”, so a single cell listing several writers and their percentages is expanded into individual split lines. Likely duplicates are flagged before anything is committed.

Why does a work show a split warning?

Accepted Answer

Split totals should reach 100% of the composition. If the sheet only provided your writer's share, or a roster cell was partially parsed, the total will be short and the work is flagged. Open the work, add or correct the writer lines, and the flag clears. The Writer share column separately shows what your registered writer controls.

What is the difference between tagged writers and writer share?

Tagged writers are the registered writers in your workspace a work is filed under — a work can carry several. Tag them inline in the repertoire grid (type a name to add a new writer), on the work page, or in bulk for many works at once. Writer share is the percentage that your registered writers control according to the split lines.

How reliable is document autofill?

It is a drafting aid with a confidence score. Digital PDFs of agreements extract well; scans and handwritten annotations less so. Always review the proposed terms, royalty rates and the writer or work it matched before accepting, and see the AI Policy for the full picture.

Question 5

How do amendments and letters of clarification work?

Accepted Answer

Open an agreement, go to Amendments, and upload or record the amendment. The system proposes which live terms and royalty rates change, shows before and after values, and only updates the agreement when you apply it. Applied amendments stay listed and can be reverted, and the change is written to the audit trail.

Can I ask the assistant to change records, not just answer questions?

Yes. Instructions such as “all Musikade agreements are terminated and rights now belong to THG Publishing” produce a reviewable preview of the matched works and agreements with before and after publisher positions. Nothing is written until you press Apply, and only users with a write role see that button.

Who can see what in my workspace?

Accepted Answer

Access follows the role assigned in Admin. Administrators manage members and roles, legal, publishing and finance roles can write within their areas, read-only can view, and data-room users see only what a transaction exposes. Workspace isolation is enforced in the database, not just in the interface.

Question 8

How do data room links work, and can I revoke them?

Accepted Answer

Each link is tokenised, tied to one transaction, and expires automatically. You can revoke a link at any time, and creation, expiry and revocation are logged. Only works marked as included in the sale appear in the manifest.

What happens when I delete a work?

Accepted Answer

Deleting a work removes its writers and splits, publishers, registrations, income evidence and diligence status, and its inclusion in any sale. Documents, agreements and statement lines are kept but unlinked. Deletions are recorded in the audit trail and are only available to write roles. You can delete a single work or several at once from the repertoire grid.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Repertoire, statements, reports and data room manifests export to CSV while your workspace is active, so you always hold your own copy.
